Fruits of the Season

Paradise in a corner of my studio.

Autumnal Equinox and Harvest Thanksgiving  healing altar.

Apples and brambles from our garden.

For most of it's life, since the 1840s, this grandfather clock pendulum has been marking time on a farm in the Scottish Highlands. It will have lived through many harvests and many seasons as the wheel of the year turns.

The clock is a recently inherited family piece which is now sitting in my studio on it's way to an antique clock restorer's workshop.
