Little Weed ?

Amazingly this nutrient starved little sunflower is living its life high on a chimney top,
well away from weeders, who may think it's growing in the "wrong" place!

I bought these at an East Lothian farm shop this morning.
The farmer grows a small field of them to sell as cut flowers.

Princess thinks modelling is really quite boring!

Thank you for visiting

  9. To look into the heart of the sunflower, that is breathtaking. The little one on the roof by the chimney pot strikes me as being similar to some people who will never be part of the crowd, remaining wild and undomesticated, and choose to flourish in their own very individual way and with a different perspective. It will be up there sharing the high space with the birds, joining in with the jackdaws, carousing with the crows... M xx
