Autumn Equinox - Harvest Thanksgiving
Dried vegetation, which has been lying in a corner of my studio since early August
I love watching the forms and colours change - creatively it's all grist for the mill .......
Today I'm clearing up and seeds will be returned to the garden to continue their cycle
Nature's Harvest
The sculpture is "The Fisher Boy" by Gemito
Thank you for visiting

ReplyDeleteThe color in your photos is striking … I enjoyed visiting.
ReplyDeleteI like the scattering of dried leaves, berries, flowers, a feather and seed pods with their next generation spilling out. A stunning macro of the blackberries.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Ruby.
I like the mixture of dried leaves, feather, berries and the seed pods.. Lovely colors and images..Enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the colors you surround yourself with...they inspire me, too! Enjoy your week my friend, Diane
ReplyDeleteWonderful collection. I couldn't send it back out very easily if it ended up in my studio. (come to think of it, I left some pine cones and berries in my studio in OXON and so I guess that'll stay there till the spring when I return...lol) The feather is wonderful. I keep the found ones in a jar. Do you keep yours too? Hope your week is a shiny and bright one. :D
ReplyDeleteAutumn colours are so rich. I enjoy collecting bits and pieces from nature, too. That's a beautiful feather.
ReplyDeleteFantastic images. I like that mosaic.

The autumn rosehips, feather, and seeds are so nostalgic scattered over the lovely soft pastel watercolors. A salute to the summer that was! The seed scattering will make next summer special too. I've been doing some seed collecting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful are your photos!
ReplyDeleteGreetings...
Ruby.
ReplyDeleteI would like to say" thank you very much"!.
I learned English from your comment. "small shops are disappearing" What an easy expression!! I corrected my English on my post. I do not like my English "small shops have been struck by big supermarkets" . Have a good week!
