Blue Skies and Elderberries

Fledgling wood pigeon, in our elderberry bush in July, a few days before it became fully airborne ......

The bush is now laden with berries but for some reason the birds are not eating them .....

Perhaps the unusually warm September weather and blue skies have lulled them
into thinking it's still summer .....

We could get used to this too!

Wild flowers in the park continue their life cycle.

Thank you for visiting

  19. I know the birds never really bothered with the berries from our elderberry and I wish I'd made a pie before cutting it down. It was spreading like wildfire.
