October Winds

It's been very windy for the past two days and although many trees still retain green foliage, every leaf which was not firmly attached has been scattered around the neighbourhood.

I was surprised to see such a variety piled up in our garden .......

Horse chestnut,sweet chestnut,sycamore,oak,lime,maple,cherry,rowan,elm,willow  .......

These, I brought indoors

Gold, rich brown and russet rhododendron leaves

Rhododendrons in spring  -  something to look forward to!

Thank you for visiting
