Imbolg

In Celtic countries Imbolg (1st - 2nd Febuary) is the Feast of the  Goddess Brighde
Also known as the Feast of Waxing Light.
It marks the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

Traditionally lamps were lit in every room in the house to hasten the return of light.
